Founded in 1988 by partner and Pro Bono Paladin Mark Surprenant, the firm’s Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support (HUGS) Program represents the embodiment of the firm’s emphasis on giving back. Caring Adams and Reese Employees (CA&RE) allows every lawyer to provide pro bono work for clients and nonprofit organizations who cannot afford to pay for an attorney.
