SARASOTA, Fla. – The Argus Foundation (ArgusFoundation.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to joining business leaders from diverse industries and leveraging their talents and experience to benefit the community, contributed $1,000 to The Lightning Foundation during its Meet the Minds event, where Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik spoke. Over 140 attendees gathered on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota to hear the soon-to-be part-time Sarasota resident Vinik as he told the story behind how he came to own the Tampa Bay Lightning and discussed hockey, business and the redevelopment of the City of Tampa.
